Operations Manager’s will oversee all operational activities at our Mississauga facility while identifying, evaluating, and implementing operational improvements. The successful candidate will have excellent theoretical and working knowledge of operational systems and their implementation. The candidate will also be comfortable with ownership of results, be hands on where needed, adaptable, and creative in meeting and adapting objectives with limited resources. They will command the respect of their peers through their communication, teamwork, integrity, and knowledge. They will be immersed in the field of operations and bring new and innovative ideas that bridge gaps and meet market and customer needs. Finally they will have demonstrated proficiency in delivering projects on time and on budget. A background in commerce and production will prove invaluable in their ability to make decisions and recommend efficient implementations. This candidate aspires to continued development roles such as Manufacturing Manger or Assistant Plant Manager, Facility Manager.
Main Duties

The Operations Manager owns and delivers the operations at the company‘s BlueRock facility. In this function they will undertake various functions in order to meet their objectives such as:

  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate the operations of a federally registered food manufacturing establishment
  • Create material, labour and process plans to meet production targets
  • Budgeting and Reporting
  • Maintenance
  • Manage HACCP, GFSI, BRC, Organic and other relevant Quality Assurance schema’s
  • Supervise, train manage employees
  • Process and product development
