Our Operations Department in Hamburg is looking for an experienced Operator to strenghten their team.

Responsibilities:

Nominating and communication with port agencies
Giving voyage instructions to the captain of vessels
Bunker planning
Co-ordinating of internal Departments
Taking care that all requirements of the C/P are followed/fulfilled
Preparing and controlling cargo documents
Solving problems arising, in particular during the voyage
Controlling and settling port disbursement accounts
Processing and commercial handling of performance and off-hire claims
Preparing and controlling freight invoices
Controlling and monitoring incoming freight and time charter payments
Issuing of LOI’s
Keeping in close contact with cargo clients, brokers and head owners
Preparation and negotiation of laytime calculations
