Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Operations Manager role is responsible for driving productivity and profitability. The Operations Manager with also be responsible for staff management and development alongside operational optimisation.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Assist with the selection and recruitment of staff
- Performance and development reviews, identifying training needs, organising training of employees as required
- Responsible for productivity of the department
- Responsible for driving productivity and profitability through the management of employees
- Planning for mobilisation of contracts
- Responsibility for P&L of the department
- Ensures profitability of contracts and monitors contract fulfilment
- Assist and maintain the quality systems in place
- Ensure that method statements and risk assessments are prepared and compliant
- Provide information to customers, undertaking site visits when appropriate
- Identifying and realise commercial opportunities
