We are currently on the hunt for an ambitious and passionate Junior Operations Manager to join our US/CAN Ops Team.
What is Oppizi?
Oppizi is the first major multichannel player in offline performance marketing. We’ve built technology that enables tracking, scaling, and optimization of flyering campaigns. We offer five channels: Hand-to-hand (in people’s hands), Door-to-Door (in people’s mailboxes), Direct Mail (in people’s mailboxes via the national post service), Door Hangers (by leaving them on the doorknobs of residential properties or on their cars), and Sampling (by providing the target audience with relevant products). We operate in 10 countries, with the main ones being Australia, New Zealand, France, the UK, the US, and Canada. Not only that, but we are very privileged to work with flagship accounts like Uber, UberEats, DoorDash, Getaround, DiDi, Deliveroo, and many others.

Job Description:

  • Lead, motivate, and support our operational cities in the US within a time-sensitive and demanding environment. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to team members and trainees;
  • Liaise and coordinate campaigns. Prepare and present client reports, campaign optimization, and KPIs;
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service;
  • Organize logistics between the cities. Work closely with legal departments to ensure activities remain compliant;
  • Work closely with high-level management to determine values and mission, budget reviews, client reports, and cost plans;
  • Meet regularly with clients, provide them with reports, campaign summaries, and more;
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget. Prepare and control inventory;
  • Manage and plan customer support along with the customer success department;
  • Recruit resources, conduct interviews, and oversee high-level HR duties;
  • Support and assist technology development.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in management;
  • 1–3 years of experience in operations in a startup/scale-up;
  • Excellent English writing and oral skills;
  • Strong experience in Google Spreadsheets; SQL skills are a plus;
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit/experience with a strong growth mindset;
  • You are adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment;
  • You are an active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows.
