Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Operations Manager, you will provide centralized strategic and tactical leadership to the ParaMed home health business and will work with other members of the leadership team to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and quality improvement in our delivery of home care services.
You are an operations or healthcare professional that enjoys people leadership and team development. You have a proven record that demonstrates strong problem solving and an aptitude for using data to drive business decisions. You demonstrate a desire to learn the details of operations in community healthcare with a focus on quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of schedulers to effectively and efficiently ensure matching of patients’ needs to caregivers abilities and availability
  • Participate in the interviewing, training, ongoing supervision, and performance management of staff
  • Ensure contract standards are met such as acceptance rates, consistency, missed care and other indicators
  • Ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction through the analysis of operational data and reports
  • Assure compliance for non-clinical aspects of care plans including assignment of appropriate staff, consistency, and frequency of in-home visits
  • Analyze and approve billing and payroll
  • Participate in the development, and subsequently implement, monitor, and maintain the operations budget
  • Prepare operational forecasting and projection reports
  • Develop the annual training and in service plan for internal operations staff
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Care and Service Manager to ensure Quality of Client Care
  • Participate in Quality Management Programs
