We are looking for an ambitious Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Head Of Support Operations and will have the ability to influence & drive improvements across our products and services.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Driven to find ways to overcome obstacles and improve on existing ways of working.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels with the ability to flex based on audience and medium
  • Experience in the scheduling, planning and management of field based, customer facing teams preferably of a technical specialism
  • High competence in data analysis, including the use of power systems and Microsoft 365
  • Customer focused; keeping the impact of our decisions and actions on our customers at the forefront of everything you do
  • Commercial and financial acumen is essential with a core understanding of resource allocation, utilisation and productivity
  • Full clean driving licence and own vehicle as will require regular field engagements

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring our third-party contractor delivers the highest level of safety and technical compliance
  • Maximise and maintain our end-to-end electricity meter installations for domestic and commercial customers via a team of field based technical experts
  • Drive high performance through operational rigour and effective relationship management; collaborating between internal and external stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes
  • Identify and implement change initiatives for our systems, processes and behaviours to consistently improve service delivery
  • Engage and develop your team to create performance excellence by consistent and high-quality use of clear metrics and objective setting
  • Use frequent and varied data sets to provide insight and analysis on performance trends and forecasting to identify opportunities to maintain or improve.
  • Day to day ownership of our third-part contractor management including maximising the operational and fiscal performance
  • Full accountability of the end-to-end processes for capturing accurate market messaging data, resolving queries and overcoming obstacles to ensure 100% compliance for new and existing customers
