ABOUT US

The Colne Valley Primary Care Network is a collaboration of six GP practices serving approximately 54,000 patients, from the Kelvedon, Finchingfield, Halstead, Earls Colne, Coggeshall, and Hedingham areas.

Responsibilities:

Colne Valley Primary Care Network is looking to appoint an experienced operations manager to lead our organisation, on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week (days and times negotiable).

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Take an active role in the development & embedding of the PCN’s culture, values & reputation as providers of high-quality services.
  • Work with and support the clinical director & leadership team to develop & deliver the strategic plans, service delivery & contract performance requirements.
  • Be the first point of contact for practice managers & commissioners in regard to PCN operations.
  • Work with the clinical director to implement ARRS funded roles and with the practice members on the planning and deployment of these roles.
  • Provide line management to all employed staff, to ensure that they are appropriately embedded in & co-ordinated across the practices.
  • Support the short & long-term financial management of the network.
  • Manage & monitor contractual requirements on behalf of the PCN including the provision of performance & management data as requested to NHSE, NHS Digital & ICB.
  • Co-ordinate intra-practice communications within the PCN, liaise with key partners in the development & monitoring of services & projects including ICB/ NHS England & Patient Participation Groups (PPGs).
  • Responsible for information, data & IT plan in conjunction with the digital transformation lead.
  • Co-ordinate public relations & be the press officer on behalf of the PCN.
