Responsibilities:
As the Operations Manager, Home & Community of our Rockhampton and Mackay region your purpose is to provide strategic and operational leadership that is in alignment with Endeavour Foundation’s mission, purpose and values and deliver its strategic and operational objectives. Your role is to lead the delivery of programs and provision of support services to people with a disability that is person-centred and focused on high performance, collaboration, care and continuous improvement.
In this role you will be required to travel on a regular basis between various of Endeavour SIL houses and Community Learning & Lifestyle centres with Community Access programs to engage and support the staff and clients with regards to enabling functions. Ideal applicant will have similar background within the Disability or Aged care sector with experience in complex clients with high medical needs and their families. This role is designed for a true people person that has high level skills in People Management and able to drive procedure & process with client safety at the forefront in what we do. Required qualification in Bachelor’s in Human Services.
In the day-to-day duties of this role you will:
- Advocate for Human Rights for people with disabilities, ensuring their right to live free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and have choice and control.
- Maintain consistent service delivery through continuous improvement, practice guidelines, and policy adherence.
- Lead clinical governance and manage health service interfaces to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Monitor client satisfaction via consultations and audits, collaborating with peers and leaders for optimal outcomes.
- Act as a positive brand ambassador and promote Endeavour Foundation’s services and reputation as an employer of choice.
- Foster a performance-based culture with a focus on engagement and results, ensuring governance aligns with policies.
- Establish the portfolio as a centre of excellence in disability accommodation and community support.
- Implement effective client engagement strategies through focus groups, committee liaison, and data analysis.
- Develop a high-performing, compliant workforce, offering employees opportunities to enhance their skills.
