FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION

Are you ready to elevate our business and lead our teams to unparalleled operational efficiency and success? We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager – Steel who thrives on challenges and is eager to make a substantial impact!
You would be responsible for supervising day-to-day managerial functions with the steel detailing department, setting training standards, analyzing and improving processes, and working to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
What You’ll do:
Lead Diverse Teams: By providing dynamic leadership, your ability to support and lead will be crucial to steel detailing projects.
Supervise and Develop Talent: Oversee, train, and supervise teams of employees. Your guidance will shape a high-performing team dedicated to quality work
Manage Quality Assurance: Implement and manage robust quality assurance to ensure our company standards are consistently met and exceeded
Innovate Process Improvements: Strategize and execute process improvements that drive our preconstruction business forward. Your innovative approach will streamline and enhance productivity
Daily Project Oversight: Take charge of daily project activities, ensuring that everything runs seamlessly and efficiently
Foster a Positive Culture: Develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within each team. Your leadership will cultivate a supportive and thriving workplace

What makes you stand out:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as an Operation Manager in the structural steel industry supervising day-to-day functions, turning chaos into harmony and driving success
  • 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the structural steel industry
  • Proficient in managing conflicts and negotiating with the finesse of a diplomat
  • Identify and tackle challenges head-on while seizing opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Oversee comprehensive reporting and meticulous planning to ensure all aspects of quality and client standards within projects are covered
  • Oversight of Project Managers and Assistant Project Manager
  • Ability to communicate effectively, bridging cultures and connecting people
  • Provide visionary leadership, inspiring and guiding teams towards excellence
