We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of a production plant to produce high-quality products and to direct activities that ensure product quality. Oversee the management of all personnel within the various production departments. Achieve the highest levels of profitability for the site. Responsibilities encompass general plant management, safety, quality control, equipment maintenance, cost analysis, production control and scheduling, logistics, labor relations, and overall operations. for the maintenance of all process equipment throughout the plant as well as the supervision and support of the team. He/she will also develop the continuous improvement and safety performance programs. In this role, the Operations Manager will also oversee 2 depot centers
Responsibilities:
- Lead the workforce, prioritizing safety and productivity and actively engage in daily operations
- Develop strategies aligned with company goals.
- Train and empower employees to boost profitability.
- Contribute to strategic planning and policy formulation.
- Efficiently manage plant budgets.
- Recommend policies for competitiveness and profitability.
- Direct essential programs (training, safety, etc.).
- Ensure quality production meeting customer expectations.
- Translate sales forecasts into production plans.
- Optimize workforce cost-effectively.
- Collaborate on staff development with supervisors.
- Enforce timely corrective actions following company policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain plant equipment for uninterrupted operations.
- Implement approved capital projects and improvements.
- Manage inventories efficiently.
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance for informed decisions.
- Play a critical role in the Business Execution team.
- Assure product quality exceeding customer expectations.
- Provide and analyze reports related to plant operations.
- Handle miscellaneous duties and projects as needed.
