Join Our Team as an Operations Manager!
Are you a leader with a passion for operational excellence and customer satisfaction? TC Facilities Management is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee our cleaning services across multiple sites in Scotland, including Carlisle, Glasgow, Motherwell, Bathgate, Dundee, and Aberdeen. You’ll lead regional teams to deliver outstanding facilities services, exceed client expectations, and drive continuous improvement across multiple locations.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Manage resources to optimise performance and service delivery within set budgets and specifications.
  • Build strong relationships with clients across Scottish sites to maintain satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure service standards are met and build rapport with customers.
  • Lead and develop regional managers to meet performance targets and grow their capabilities.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for your team.
  • Review and communicate key business metrics such as weekly hours budgets and KPIs to inform decisions.
  • Support direct reports in resolving employee-related issues.
  • Uphold TC values and lead by example to foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Review audits, address any issues promptly, and promote best practices across all sites.
  • Ensure your team has the necessary equipment and products to succeed in their roles.
  • Provide cover and support within the region as required.
  • Lead recruitment, succession planning, and talent development across Scottish sites.
  • Ensure legal compliance training is up to date for all staff.
  • Conduct bi-annual performance reviews with direct reports.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practices.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Proven ability to build positive client relationships.
  • Experience managing and developing remote teams.
  • Understanding of P&L account management.
  • Experience in service delivery and performance management.
