Description:
JOB OVERVIEW
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the growth and success of Tri-Mach Inc. by overseeing the efficient management of the Operations department. This entails guiding and supporting departmental Managers, Supervisors, and Employees, collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Operations on strategic planning initiatives, and fostering streamlined communication and quality processes across all departments. It is crucial that our Operations Manager promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma an asset.
- Knowledge of welding and custom fabrication an asset
- Welding certification(s) and / or relevant education an asset
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience required.
- Working knowledge of Solidworks 3D modeling and AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to work independently, make the difficult decisions and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Applied knowledge of Design for Manufacturing techniques.
- Familiarity with automated equipment and metal fabricating processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems required.
- Financial planning and Industrial engineering experience preferred.
- Millwrighting experience an asset.
- Hands-on fabrication and machining knowledge an asset.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Safety-oriented mindset.
- Strong team player with a commitment to shared success.
- Ability to mulit-task and adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
- Familiarity with quality programs and standards.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on achieving high standards.
- Food and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing knowledge an asset.
