JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee a high-volume team of up to 15 Payment Processor within our Consumer Lease Services Department. This ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to team development, and the ability to manage day-today operations efficiently. Join us in leading a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional consumer leasing services.
Location: Owensboro, KY and 100% onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, coach and develop a team of payment processors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensuring the application of payments are made timely.
- Support team members in research payment issues, and the escalations of complex issues.
- Building and maintaining reports on an already established team as it relates to performance, payment processing metrics and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain a team schedule to align with business needs and ensuring coverage during peak periods.
- Participate in management meeting providing insights, updates on team performance and operational status.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Effectively manage day to day SLAs, quality and performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically, three to five years of relevant experience
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Four -year college degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Operations management, or a related field
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in consumer leasing or payment processing
- Thorough knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
- Strong organizational, managerial and project management skills
- Well-developed customer relations skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously and manage deadlines with minimal follow up.
