$73,100.00 - $129,900.00

Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experienc
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Workforce management experience including: directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Knowledge and understanding of securities industry, brokerage and/or trust business
- Experience with BETA, SmartStation, SEI or other Trust applications
- Ability to develop and negotiate solutions to issues with partners or clients including escalations as needed

Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management is seeking an Operations Manager in the Banking Lending and Trust department to lead the 6 onsite Trust Operations Mailroom teams handling incoming mail, logging and redirecting incoming checks under dual control, overseeing safekeeping and internal control responsibilities, and other key functions. The team is part of Wealth and Investment Management, and this leadership role closely partners with front office partners, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Control teams.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting these teams. This role will involve ensuring staffing administrative tasks are carried out, providing coaching/feedback to the team and ensuring a secure risk/control environment. In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Trust Operations area with complex and risk in functional area
- Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area
- Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced management
- Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team members
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Provide responsibility for budget and financial performance
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Trust Operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
