Description:
Our client, a global financial services firm is looking for a proactive Operations Officer (12 month Contract) with a strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks. The role will support the daily operations surrounding derivatives trading processing, ensuring accurate trade capture and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and support daily derivatives trading processes for the local market and third-party clearers.
- Perform position balancing, cash reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify root causes of breaks and exceptions and work towards efficient resolution.
- Identify opportunities for automation and improved workflow management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Handle relevant regulatory reporting tasks, ensuring compliance with necessary regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in derivatives clearing and operations.
- Proficient in data analysis, reconciliation, and process management.
- Familiarity with MS Office, CW2, Titan OTC, and Seals systems is a plus.
