Fluke is looking for a Production Manager to lead a key factory in Everett, WA. QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED (REQUIRED):

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in an operations or leadership role
  • Demonstrated positive results with Lean / Kaizen / continuous improvement skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and out of the box thinking.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (such as supply chain, engineering, business, etc.)
  • 1-4 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of working with cross functional teams
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Oracle and Power BI
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) for varying levels of leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team that builds products. Your job is to have your team do this safely, with great quality, on time for the customer, while improving your factories productivity and inventory.
  • Lead and direct factory team members of approx. 25 people including operators, material handlers, and team leads, across 2 shifts.
  • S: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and perform any required safety reporting.
  • S: Uphold 5S standards and lead 5S projects.
  • Q: Address any quality-related issues with engineering and technicians promptly.
  • Q: Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to keep machinery functional.
  • Q: Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards.
  • D: Lead the team to meet the build plan daily.
  • I: Oversee cell replenishment, and cell bin sizing with the material handlers.
  • I: Manage inventory signaling, material put away, kanban execution, identify potential shortages and other items owned by material handlers.
  • P: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, procurement, and logistics to optimize production.
  • P: Monitor workflow efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
  • P: Troubleshoot production challenges and resolve operational issues.
  • T: Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • T: Responsible for cross-training management and the training process.
  • T: Manage temporary staffing, open roles, and work with the temp agency.
  • FBS: Continuously seek areas for improvement and to lead kaizens.
