Fluke is looking for an Operations Manager to lead a 2 key factories in Everett, WA. Join an amazing team and run manufacturing factories that delivers world class quality products.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED (REQUIRED):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as supply chain, engineering, business, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in an operations or leadership role
  • Demonstrated positive results with Lean / Kaizen / continuous improvement skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and out of the box thinking.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES:

  • 1-4 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop, implement and sustain changes to deliver year over year improvements to quality, delivery and cost
  • Master’s Degree (Business Administration or Engineering)
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Oracle and Power BI
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) for varying levels of leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team that builds products. Your job is to have your team do this safely, with great quality, on time for the customer, while improving your factories costs, productivity, and inventory.
  • Run factory daily management and lead the team in objective problem solving.
  • Lead or facilitate Lean kaizen events to improve your business.
  • Lead and direct factory team members of over 30 people including production manager(s), operators, team leads, material handlers and repair technicians across 2 shifts.
  • Implement strategies to retain, engage, and develop a qualified and motivated workforce.
  • Collect and analyze data to establish facts, understand root cause and provide practical solutions to problems.
  • Understand and implement necessary labor, machines, materials, and space to launch and sustain new products in your factory.
  • Budget and forecast the variable cost center and improve manufacturing costs.
  • Provide the cost benefit analysis on capital equipment and justify expenses.
