Description:

OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Operationalise the Ministry of Social and Family (MSF) funded disability programmes and schemes, and work with internal and external stakeholders to review operational issues and proposing solutions translated to clear operations guidelines and processes to support streamlined and efficient service delivery on the ground
  • Engage and partner internal and external stakeholders to review service models and gather ground feedback/inputs
  • Analyse operational data and streamline processes to improve service efficiency to persons with disabilities (PwDs) and their caregivers
  • Implement Social Residential Home Bill (SRHB) – represent SG Enable in working with MSF Divisions to review and propose the baseline and customised standards of care (SOCs) for the disability homes, licensing framework etc.
  • Work with MSF and National Council of Social Service (NCSS) to look into the manpower planning and competencies of disability professionals to build capability for the disability sector
  • Conduct data analysis and trend projection to provide inputs to ministries for service improvements and future developments of disability programmes and schemes

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • A good Degree in any discipline, with minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience. Experience in Operations policy work will be preferred.
  • Familiar with use of MS Office applications such as MS-Word and MS-Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Energetic and enthusiasm with a strong client focus.
  • Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to remain focused on outputs and to adjust delivery mechanisms to meet deadlines and client needs.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with excellent project management skills and to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organization skills, meticulous and diligent to manage competing time demands for multiple projects within given timeframes.
  • Team-player who shares knowledge and displays initiative in assisting colleagues.
