FULL TIME - 35 HOURS PER WEEK.

We are looking for an Operations Project Officer to join the Professional Services team in the School of Chemistry.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for a problem solver who enjoys getting involved in a variety of projects and is skilled at keeping people and processes on track to address operational challenges and opportunities. In this post, you will gain exposure to a range of business support operations within higher education including: finance, staffing, administration, governance, reporting, website and sustainability. You’ll be part of a professional services team that is passionately committed to delivering excellent service and a great experience for our staff and students.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) for 12 months from 1 st May 2025 (successful candidate must be able to take up post by 19 th May 2025). We are open to considering fractional (0.8/0.9) or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. Our expectation is that you will be able to attend our physical base in the Joseph Black building (King’s Buildings), at least three days per week. The salary for this post is £33,882 to £39,105 per annum.
