We are looking for an Operations Assurance Clerk I help grow our business and contribute to our future.
The Operations Assurance Clerk I is the first point of contact of the recovery life cycle process. This role is responsible to open files and complete all tasks associated with receiving new files. Additionally, this role will provide financial support for the company as needed in the capacity of cost analysis, billing, payment processing and reconciliation.
Major Activities:
- Initiate new files and reports that are received electronically or in a few instances provided directly by the client.
- Populate a word document with account information to fax to the bank centres to request documents.
- Upload received documents to a file in our web portal.
- Request and then upload the received PPSA search to a file in our web portal.
- Obtain and enter black book values into each file and verify the vehicle identification number (VIN).
- Enter a number of milestones associated with new files.
- Provide financial support for company as needed in capacity of cost analysis, billing, payment processing and reconciliation.
- Verify, dispute and/or authorize all supplier invoices and forward them to the accounting department for payment.
- Provide accurate cost projections to other departments on daily basis that includes analyzing all fees statements and charges.
- Review conditional sale contracts, bills of sale, and other documentation in order to ensure accuracy.
- Provide exact cost projections on specified files to ensure all costs are recovered.
Position Requirements:
- 2-3 years previous repossession services experience.
- Excellent computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel) including typing is mandatory.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, and deal with interruptions and prioritize work
- Goal oriented; ability to work in a metrics driven position
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
