Description:
LOCATION: WASHINGTON DC ONSITE
Salary Range – $40,000 - $90,000
Security Clearance:
Must be a US Citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Research Analyst III for data collection, analytics and reporting that meet client requirements. Datasets provided by the client are analyzed for trends, anomalies and utilized for forecasting for the client. Provides team leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Management or leadership experience is a plus.
- 4-5 years of analytical experience and/or working in a research environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience: TEAMS, Project, Advanced Excel including power queries, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
- Tableau experience
- Ability to manage workload and schedule across multiple processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail for quality control of documents and artifacts
- Good communication skills and strong teamwork
- Flexible availability

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and the location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Reports to a Project Coordinator and Project Manager.
- Provide team leadership to project segment or a subject matter area.
- Must be able to work both independently and lead teams of analysts.
- Must be able to present data to team and clients and contribute actively in team meetings
- Responsible for data collection, analytics and reporting.
- Compile information into reports to support meetings, ongoing updates to data databases, and progress reports.
- Provide operations research analysis support for operational-level planning and strategic analysis.
- Analyze actual and predictable, operational activities of systems to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques.
- Devise modeling and measuring techniques, and utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, operational mathematics techniques and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines to investigate complex issues, identify, and solve problems.
- Apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts to assist in advancing performance and operating more efficiently.
- Assist in addressing requirements and the evaluation of data assessment strategies: sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management assessment strategies.
- Develop cost-benefit analysis, data collection, data analysis, risk analysis, simulation model execution, economic analysis, and operational effectiveness studies.
- Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet changing business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation Minimum: $40,000
Compensation Maximum: $90,000
