Description:

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Master degree from a top-tier university in Operations Research, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or Management Science
  • Must be proficient in mathematical programming and familiar with Operations Research concepts (experience with tools like Cplex, Gurobi, AIMS or similar is a plus)
  • 2+ year relevant industrial experience that showcase your ability to put optimization models into use
  • Applied knowledge in Python, SQL and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Must be highly proactive, autonomous, possess advanced problem-solving ability, critical and strategic thinking
  • Highly effective and excellent project management skills; the ability to participate and lead high-profile projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As an Operations Researcher, you will be joining an international, cross-functional team who is revolutionizing the way we manage our supply chain processes, from menu planning, via production management, to logistics. As part of your responsibilities, you will play a key role in improving and expanding our production and logistics planning capabilities. Your work will have an immediate impact on our business operations performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create mathematical optimization models and tools to solve practical business problems in production and logistics planning; roll them out
  • Own your projects, implement your vision to our tools and processes
  • Develop data pipelines and support the creation of dashboards to provide actionable insights and showcase the business impact of your tools
  • Identify problems proactively, formulate and implement robust and data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders as well as coordinate with engineering and other data teams
  • Promote the team’s enthusiasm for data-drivenness and ensure company-wide commitment to optimization paradigms
