JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Specialist to join our Advanced Security Group. The Advanced Security Group (ASG) is responsible for offensive security operations within the business and on customer accounts. It includes managers of pentesting operations, program managers, technical QA members, report writers, and security consultants/pentesters both internally and from the researcher community.
The Operations Specialist will be working under the direction of our Directors & Managers in our ASG business unit to manage daily processes and operational tasks, drive continuous improvement to enhance customer outcomes, increase business efficiency, and create a more enjoyable work environment for staff. This role requires a data-focused process specialist with strong project management and business analysis skills.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in operations within a tech industry professional or managed services business.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, project management, and data analysis.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management and business analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Gainsight, and Salesforce
  • Experience in data analysis using Tableau or other tools is a plus.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications:
  • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 or business analysis or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations Management:
  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the Advanced Services group.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient delivery of Pentest, Red Team, and other services.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain service quality.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Lead efforts to optimize and streamline delivery processes within the team.
  • Analyze current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect, analyze, and report on key metrics, including both leading and trailing indicators.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Salesforce.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve service delivery and team performance.
  • OKRs and KPI Management:
  • Manage the team’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor progress and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Regularly report on OKR and KPI performance to the VP of Advanced Services.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage projects related to process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Utilise project management tools such as Monday.com to track progress and manage resources.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the team.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members to enhance their performance.
  • Tool Utilisation:
  • Leverage tools such as Gainsight, Tableau, and Monday.com to optimise operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies to improve service delivery.
  • Strategic Support:
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Represent the Advanced Services group in meetings and discussions as needed.
