- Hands on experience identifying and resolving complex technical issues involving multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The Operations Superintendent will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and site performance. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for safety performance and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Compliance with laws and regulations that impact stakeholders.
- Ensure procedures are followed and sampling/analysis schedules maintained to assure quality.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture that stretches teams to perform at their best.
- Ensure all assets are being continuously monitored, are cost efficient and operated at their optimal levels.
- Optimise production planning, equipment performance and process conditions to ensure optimal energy management of all assets.
- Ensure breakdowns/emergencies are rectified immediately and production downtime minimised.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Assess industry advancements, disruptors, and trends to bring insights and opportunities into Adbri.
- Ensure compliance to all operating process control standards (PCS).
- Build diverse teams and optimise diverse ideas through inclusive and respectful language and behaviours.
