Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Manager in monitoring work activities, reviewing overtime, allocating drivers, trucks and organizing routes to meet customer demand.
- Plan and organize fleet maintenance as per company policies and government regulations.
- Pro-actively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for continuous improvement regarding processes, customer service and profitability.
- Communicate regularly with other operation sites and multiple departments throughout the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Conduct near miss, injury, and collision investigations, complete corrective actions promptly and communicate resolutions to appropriate departments.
- Review and audit driver timesheets and submit to payroll.
- Respond to general inquiries, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner by promoting a positive, inclusive work environment through effectively communicating company policies
