Description:

Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Job Summary: Under the Direction of the Operations Account Manager performs a variety of management tasks with emphasis on customer satisfaction, quality service delivery and efficient cleaning process.
The role of Operational Supervisor involves conducting detailed electronic quality assurance inspections to ensure all work aligns with specified standards and requirements within all current Three Ace owned properties. They will have a company vehicle.
It also includes supervising and coordinating janitorial staff, assigning tasks based on material needs and workload based on seasonal changes and recommending staffing actions such as hiring or terminations to maintain optimal team performance. Regular communication with team members will be key to resolving operational or personnel challenges effectively.
Key responsibilities include managing and approving time sheets for submission to payroll, ordering supplies within budget constraints, and overseeing the hiring and training of new employees. Monthly health and safety training sessions must be conducted to maintain compliance and promote a safe working environment. Additionally, structured site visits are required to verify that client specifications are consistently met, addressing concerns or requests promptly and efficiently.
Other duties include managing labor budgets, tracking inventory and equipment, coordinating event requests from clients, and ensuring all necessary reports, inspections, and documentation are completed in collaboration with inspectors and management. The ability to plan, organize, and continuously improve daily operations is a critical aspect of the role. It’s vital to lead by example, demonstrating company values in all interactions while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Supervisor experience in operations of a Service-related field. Janitorial preferred.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in both written and oral English, Other language skills an asset
  • Must be organized and able to interpret and execute account specifications as well as agreements, budgets, and duty lists
  • General computer skills,
  • Excellent time leadership/ training skills

must adhere to tight deadlines/respond quickly to situations/be able to effectively execute solutions

  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and troubleshooting of that equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner

  • Work environment is mostly indoor but some outdoor activities occur
  • Exposure to sun/heat or wind/cold is a regular part of the day
  • Evenings and some weekends to ensure customer satisfaction.

Remuneration
$55,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience
Vehicle allowance and fuel card
