Operations Support Engineer

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated Operations Support Engineer to provide technical support for a critical Enterprise application. The role demands the individual to have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to provide a detailed analysis of issues, and implement the solutions in a timely manner. You should have a strong knowledge of Java Applications and REST APIs, be able to analyze defects or issues in a dockerized environment and be able to do a Root Cause Analysis for the issues. You should also be able to resolve defects in a timely manner, and work with multiple teams collaboratively to resolve issues.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in Core Java, server-side Java technologies, REST APIs
• Knowledge of Linux commands.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Deployment in a containerized environment.
• Previous Experience in a Support/Operations role is essential.
• Able to provide analysis of issues and be able to implement the solutions in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact with multiple teams and the Client to determine the RCA and bring an issue to resolution.
