JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operations Support Manager is solely responsible for the development, upkeep and maintenance of all staffing and payroll systems at the site level to ensure both contractual compliance and stated financial goals through direct collaboration with the security management team and local regional management personnel. The Operations Support Manager will anticipate and plan for future staffing requirements, drive recruitment efforts through the local office and assign new employees to the appropriate working schedules and posts based on operational requirements and employee strengths. Furthermore, the Operations Support Manager will be responsible for maximizing officer utilization to drive down unnecessary overtime and non-billable expenses.
Additionally, the Operations Support Manager will oversee and safeguard all personnel records, have ownership of uniform and equipment procurement processes, complete all necessary paperwork related to employment in conjunction with the employee, and maintain operational metrics to drive business decisions. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
- Manage the payroll and scheduling systems to ensure all positions and shifts are appropriately staffed; all employees are compensated accurately, and all invoices are a true reflection of services rendered
- Maintain future work schedules by only assigning appropriately trained personnel; implement and improve detailed tracking staff and their completed training and certifications; develop and implement staffing plans to ensure physical security workforce is prepared for emergency operations as well as long-term growth of the workforce
- Measure and assess the proficiency and effectiveness of physical security staff to ensure they are meeting vendor and client expectations; develop and implement quality assurance programs; provide expert advice regarding resolution of any shortcomings

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
- Prior experience as a team leader
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Bachelor’s degree in protective service, business, or related field
- A minimum of 8 or more years of active service in any military branch
- Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) in criminal justice with current or prior active military service
- 2 years of verifiable data center security experience
- 3 years of verifiable private/corporate security experience
