Title: Operations Support Manager - Masonry
Location: Flexible within Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire – Some travel required
Salary: £27,500 to £29,500 per annum

THE OPPORTUNITY

Funeral Partners is seeking a committed and passionate Operations Support Manager - Masonry to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional support to our Masonry Champions and branch colleagues across various areas, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide families with the highest quality memorial masonry services. If you have experience in the funeral industry—such as a Funeral Director, Senior Funeral Arranger, or Funeral Home Manager—or a background in Customer Service Management with a focus on coaching and process management, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor compliance with standards and procedures for all aspects of memorial masonry,
  • Coordinate supplier performance data and participate in supplier review forums with the Head of Operational Support.
  • Analyse data from internal systems to drive initiatives that increase memorial conversion rates, enhance memorial opportunities, and inform business decisions.
  • Support local management in creating and reviewing action plans for underperforming areas to improve masonry performance.
  • Provide coaching and development to Masonry Champions and branch colleagues to enhance their product knowledge and masonry processes.
  • Support Area Managers to integrate memorial masonry into new acquisitions.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the masonry business within Funeral Partners.
  • Conduct ‘Mystery Shopping’ of competitors and use findings to inform commercial decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Act as an ambassador for Funeral Partners, upholding company standards and expectations at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Attend training and development sessions to maintain role-related knowledge and skills.
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by your line manager.
  • Engage in training related to FCA regulations as needed, though your role will not be directly involved in regulated activities.
