Responsibilities:

An opportunity has arisen for Operations Support Specialist in Corby, UK. The role is responsible for supporting all aspects of Operations but with particular focus on Environmental, Safety & Health. Support the execution of Capex projects on site and lead the site energy management programme.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contractor control, i.e. inductions and auditing of contractors while on site.
  • Particular focus on driving the Environmental agenda, linking with UK and EMEA based specialists.
  • Administrate EHS activities, owning EHS reporting.
  • Provide appropriate support, leadership and management for Capex projects, including administrative responsibilities.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in Process Safety.
  • Play an active role in Risk Assessment & Standard Operating Procedure completion and maintenance.
  • Lead the Management of Change process.
  • Lead the energy management programme for site liaising with all other champions across the group.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of NC/ONC/HNC/C&G in an engineering or similar discipline is preferable.
  • Ability and willingness to undertake NEBOSH Certificates in Health & Safety, Process Safety and Environmental Management.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to lead meetings and communicate with colleagues at all levels.
  • The desire and ability to progress within an engineering/safety role in a global organisation.
