About the job
We at Danone are looking for a dynamic and engaging Operations Systems Lead to be part of our talented operations team based in Auckland. You will be responsible for strategic planning, system deployment, and continuous improvement in collaboration with local and global teams to shape manufacturing systems
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will focus on system enhancements, maintaining roadmaps, and evaluating effectiveness. You will ensure process anomalies and faults are reported and repaired effectively.
You will:
- Active contribution to the development and refinement of Danone’s vision and strategy through site roadmap within the Auckland Plant Leadership team.
- Build a structured vision and 3-year roadmap for plant systems aligned with business and commercial outcomes.
- Ensure systems are updated, propose new solutions, and assist with projects to enhance capability and efficiency.
- Drive root cause analysis, tracking, and reporting of system issues and resolutions.
- Coach, train, upskill, and mobilise employees to play an active role in the achievement of our vision and strategy.
- Oversee that a comprehensive level-one training program for production and maintenance personnel is in place for key systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global teams to identify system requirements and opportunities for enhancement.
About you
You are an energetic, proactive, confident, and experienced manufacturing professional with a proven track record in successfully leading manufacturing systems initiatives for a large site. Your prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, stakeholder engagement, project management skills, collaborative working style, excellent leadership skills with efficient verbal and written communication, will be advantageous in this role. You enjoy taking ownership and responsibility and know how to act with speed, agility & and pragmatism.
To be successful you will also have:
- Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology/Engineering Degree/ or any other in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems management, strategic planning, or a related role.
- Strong Project Management and Leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data Visualization and Reporting & Data Interpretation and Analysis
