Description:

We are hiring on behalf of a client.
You will be part of a profitable company for over 40 years that is expanding rapidly, with exciting career growth opportunities.
This is a leadership role where you will be required to oversee and manage the school bussing operations of an entire international school. You will exercise and practise strong leadership, ethics, and quick decision making.
On-going mentorship and training will be provided to you - making this a very viable role for career switch and/or progression!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of on-the-ground leadership experience in operations management, preferably in transportation or logistics.
  • Basic navigation/route planning know-hows.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Class 3 Driver or Class 4 Driver’s License would be preferable.
  • Bus Driver’s Vocational License would be preferable.

Responsibilities:

  • Situated in an international school in the Central area of Singapore.
  • Oversee all aspects of the school bus operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with school administration, bus crew, and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage a fleet of buses and bus crew, route planning, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Handle emergency situations and implement contingency plans.
  • Lead and mentor the operations team, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with customer service to address and resolve any service issues.Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
