Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the airworthiness of Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes. Operative Engineering function is under Operative Management, which combines the strengths of Engineering and MCC (Maintenance Control Center).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support complex AOGs.
- Contribute to the development of processes and technical training for the organization.
- Support development of Predictive Maintenance.
- Support future of Aircraft Data usage / management.
- Developing aircraft and system capabilities, resolving problem cases, monitoring manufacturer and community information as well as fleet metrics to improve aircraft reliability and maintaining aircraft continuing airworthiness.
- Analyzing reliability data and other aircraft diagnostics, and initiating and managing completion of actions to enhance the reliability.
- Engineering and development projects as well as other given assignments within the own area of expertise.
- Monitoring technical performance of vendor components and initiating and negotiating actions to improve performance.
- Maintaining active communication channels with vendors.
