Join us as an operator/labourer in our 1st Coat Sealing team in Greymouth!
In this role, you will perform general labouring tasks and operate sealing plant/machinery to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard. If you have a willingness to learn and have a passion for operating machinery, we can help provide the training necessary to get you up to scratch.

In addition to the above you will:

• Undertake manual hands-on tasks related to sealing works.
• Operate various plant used for sealing works, including the Emulsion sprayer
• Assist in the execution of the sealing works, as required by applicable contract specifications.
• Maintain open communication with other crew members and management.
• Ensure all plant and work sites are kept in a safe and tidy condition.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Availability to work away from home and on shift as required
• Full Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements (Class 4 and above are advantageous)
• Previous bitumen or emulsion handling experience is advantageous
• The ability to problem solve in a fast-paced team environment
• A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills
• A willingness to learn and upskill
• A positive attitude and most importantly, a good sense of humour
