This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successfully completed technical vocational education (e.g. food technology specialist, chemical technician or similar)
  • Resilience, commitment and good teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Decision-making and assertiveness skills, as well as a sense of responsibility
  • Good German language skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in operating and mastering PLC-controlled production systems
  • Basic knowledge of English

Responsibilities:

  • Control and monitor production processes, machines and systems and maintain the necessary documentation in a fully continuous 4-shift system
  • Troubleshoot system issues within your capabilities and proactively identify potential safety risks
  • Observe and evaluate important system parameters and trends
  • Communicate with production/production management about process analyses and adjust system parameters within the given limits or beyond after consulting with the shift leader/production manager
  • Conduct quality analyses to ensure quality assurance
  • Monitor the process for raw material, auxiliary material and energy consumption.
  • Maintain and clean system components
  • Comply with all occupational safety, food safety, environmental protection and health regulations.
