About the role
Reporting to the Senior Operational Coordinator, you will be required to assist in the running of the mine operations by monitoring activities and being a central point of communication.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring, coordinating and reporting various aspects of underground operations, including movement of personnel and equipment, underground and surface ventilation systems, seismic and weather events, and clearances for access into restricted areas within the mine.
Recording accurate operational data and equipment status in the PitRAM system.
Providing administration and data collection duties along with providing key information to operational departments in real-time via radio communications.
Escalating and coordinating communications during emergency situations
General duties associated with accurate communications and administration.
