Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine rounds (SQRE) and proactively report, mitigate and solve emerging issues.
  • Monitor production process.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot abnormal operations.
  • Operate process equipment (Casting/Slitting/Services) per SOP, SOC, special instructions including start up and shut down.
  • Collects and test process samples.
  • Addresses alarms, communicates needs for bypasses.
  • Completes required PDR information and participates in PDR reviews.
  • Toolbox meetings.
  • Perform Conduct of Operations required activities including shift handovers, maintaining house keeping standards etc.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Security training in industrial environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
