• Operate the flash plants and associated equipment (chemical dosing, motorized brine/effluent pumping, steam purity monitoring system), pipelines, valves, instruments and other appurtenances;
• Cut-in and cut-out production and injection wells required by the operation;
• Drain steam lines, headers and separator sight glasses; purges airlines and air receiver tanks; reclogs small valves/fittings; monitor water flow in the separator station silencers, water flow entering into the thermal pond water;
• Inspect wellhead and pipelines, thermal ponds, sedimentation tanks, water supply system and manholes and immediately reports unusual findings and observations to the Plant Technician Shift Leader or Operations Manager;
• Conduct regular inspection of the brine pump seal water system to ensure continuous and uninterrupted water flow and satisfying the required flow into each mechanical seal, and conducts regular draining and cleaning of the seal water strainers to ensure no differential pressure build-up across the source to maintain the required capacity flow to the brine pump mechanical water seals;
• Conducts routine stroking of pumps, motorized, control and safety valves, blowing/cleaning of strainers, exercising pipelines and thermal pond valves, and routine gathering of field operating data;
• Conduct routine inspection and condition reporting of the brine sump pumping equipment, spill containment provisions and pipelines.
• Verify field parameter or perform manual control adjustment of equipment within the assigned area in accordance with the established standard operating procedure, company’s safety and environmental standards, and the direction of the Plant Technician Shift Leader and/or Operations Manager;

• Provide inputs/recommendations to the Plant Technician Shift Leader for operational problems encountered in the steam field facility;

• Conduct inspection as directed by the Operations Manager or Plant Technician Shift - Leader to verify condition of the equipment and/or perform manual control activities as required in the trip management plan;

• Activate emergency response plan during emergency situation and assumes the responder role as assigned (e.g. team leader, fire pump monitor, nozzle man)

• Record field operating data for review by Plant Technician Shift Leader and/or Plant Manager. Ensure prompt submission of these data (in forms) to superior;
• Maintain a time-based log which record flash plant/separator and associated equipment condition, movements, incidents, observations;
• Conduct regular readings of the brine pumps parameters and informs his immediate superior of any observed abnormality in parameters readings, unusual sounds heard and vibrations and anything that’s visually abnormal.

• Participate in the learning program/other intervention initiatives as identified in the individual development plan based from feedback and competency-gaps to continually upgrade/increase competency proficiency level as required by job;
• Execute health, security, environmental and safety rules and regulations of the company;
• Practice recommended behaviors that adhere to the core values of the company;
• Implement and comply with company rules and policies;
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by superiors.
• Graduate of Diploma 3 Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Chemical).
• Minimum 5 years technical experience in power plants or similar heavy industry, including 2 years minimum at geothermal facilities;
• Good computer skills; MS Office is mandatory;
• Good communication and reporting skills both verbal and in writing, specifically in English language;
• Having experiences in multi-national project development performed in various countries is desirable but not essential;
