OPS SUPERVISOR

at  DHL Express

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Following the European and Global organization guidance, in tight cooperation with the (BE)LUX OPS Management team, directly reporting to the OPS & Gateway Manager LUX, the OPS Supervisor is responsible for:

• planning, controlling, supervising the INBOUND / OUTBOUND processes
• ensuring the good fulfilment of the pick-up and delivery cycles to achieve the set targets in terms of performance and productivity levels
• supervising and accompanying the Couriers and Terminal Handling in their daily duties.
• assisting the OPS Manager in implementing projects and improving the Service level.

TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

• Bachelor Degree in Transport / Logistics or equivalent professional experience
• French & English spoken and written
• At least 5 year experience in Transport / Logistics
• At least 2 year experience in a Team leading role
• Experience in express delivery = advantage
• Knowledge of the DP DHL organization = advantage
• Knowledge of the Luxembourg territory = advantage
