We are seeking a motivated and professional Optical Dispenser/Receptionist to join our small, friendly team on a part time basis. The role involves working:

• 3 days a week: Monday and Thursday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Every second Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Flexibility to cover additional weekday hours during staff leave is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and ensuring a friendly front-of-house experience.
• Answering phones, handling correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and processing orders.
• Providing personalised support in frame and lens selection, fitting, and advice.
• Performing minor repairs and assisting with customer inquiries.

(Note: Cutting/edging of lenses is not required.)About You

You are a professional, friendly, and well-presented individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment. You have:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in retail, with a preference for optical retail experience (not essential).
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
• Technical Competence: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Optomate Touch is an advantage (training provided).
• Personal Attributes: Self-motivation, responsibility, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
