Optical Sales Assistant

Luxor Optical is looking for a Full Time or Part Time Optical Sales Associate.
Job duties include, answering phone calls, booking in patients with the optometrist, managing patient files, helping assist customerswith the best eyewear suited for themselves, keeping up with store cleanliness, etc.
Retail and Optical experience is required in order to be considered for the job.
Optician license is not required but is a bonus.
Must be friendly and passionate about the job and must have strong organization skills.

SUMMARY

As a sales associate with optical experience, you will lead a team to drive sales, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the smooth operation of the store. Utilizing core skills in retail management, team leadership, and customer service, you will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and optimize store performance. Your premium skills in negotiation, recruiting, and merchandising will be instrumental in driving profitability and enhancing the customer shopping experience. With relevant skills in marketing, time management, and organizational abilities, you will create a positive and efficient work environment while achieving sales targets and fostering a strong team culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with using WINK or similiar optical POS systems
• Opening and closing duties
• Experience in the optical industry and in sales
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Customer service expertise
• Must be able to take measurments related to prescription eyewear
• Must be experienced in filling out job order forms
• Evaluate prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists in conjunction with patients’ visual requirements
• Proficiency in adjustments and repairs for eyeglasses/sunglasses
• Complete additional daily office tasks such as keeping records of clients’ prescriptions, preparing paperwork for customers’ insurance payments, maintaining order inventory, and tracking requests in the system
• Bilingual skills a plus
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
  Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
