ABOUT TEAM:

As a world-renowned VR/AR brand with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, Pico has been at the forefront of the consumer electronic market. We have teams in Northern America, Europe, Japan and South Korea. We are looking for a creative Optical Systems Engineer to join us to build our AR/VR display optics system team, to develop and lead new optical module development for Pico products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in optical engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in development of optical testing and metrology systems.
• Experience in at least one of the following: Image quality evaluation, Stray light molding and analysis, Camera module
  or lens testing and characterization, Imaging optics design and manufacturing, Illumination optics design and

manufacturing, Display/backlight design and development, Polarization, or Visual Optics.

• Experience communicating and collaborating in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience using both logical and creative thinking to solve problems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced degree in optical engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in developing and launching products in relevant fields in consumer electronics
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Develop display optics system functions that improve optical performance and system cost
• Work closely across optics, display, mechanical, and other cross-functional engineering teams to define, develop, and test optical system prototypes
• Develop advanced optical metrology systems for optical performance characterization
• Push forward cross-functional engineering effort on display optics system performance advancement
• Create and maintain engineering specifications.
• Specify key performance indicators, test methods, and test requirements for components and systems.
