Description:

C.M. Optical Shelburne is looking for an energetic optometric assistant. This is a full-time position within our Shelburne office. Experience is helpful but not required. Wage will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
We are a progressive optometry clinic with a busy optical! We provide our patients with the highest quality, up-to-date vision care. The doctors and staff strive to grow and promote continued excellence by routinely enhancing their skills and knowledge through continuing education and utilizing the latest technologies available. We strive on delivering an eyewear – eyecare experience that outshines our competition.
We need an enthusiastic, friendly optometric assistant who loves to help people, provide specialty testing, administrative tasks, advise patients on the best suitable frames and lenses depending on their lifestyle and medical requirements, as well as informing customers about the proper use and handling of contact lenses. It’s a role that combines both technical knowledge and customer service skills!
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are important assets.

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Licensed opticians and student opticians are welcome to apply
Experience:
Will train, sales would be an asset
