Job Description: As an Optical Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in our practice by assisting patients with their eyewear needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on their prescription and lifestyle.
- Providing expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
- Accurately measuring and fitting frames to ensure optimal comfort and vision.
- Processing orders and ensuring timely delivery of eyewear.
- Performing adjustments and repairs on eyewear as needed.
- Maintaining an organized and clean dispensing area.
- Educating patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
- Collaborating with optometrists and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience as an Optical Dispenser or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of optical products and services.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and fittings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with optical dispensing software and tools.
- Experience with CL teaches considered an asset
