Job Description: As an Optical Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in our practice by assisting patients with their eyewear needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on their prescription and lifestyle.
  • Providing expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
  • Accurately measuring and fitting frames to ensure optimal comfort and vision.
  • Processing orders and ensuring timely delivery of eyewear.
  • Performing adjustments and repairs on eyewear as needed.
  • Maintaining an organized and clean dispensing area.
  • Educating patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
  • Collaborating with optometrists and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as an Optical Dispenser or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of optical products and services.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and fittings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with optical dispensing software and tools.
  • Experience with CL teaches considered an asset
