ABOUT US:

Blowers Optical is located in the Blowers Medical Building in Ajax, Ontario. We offer a full range of optical services, including eye exams and advanced diagnostic tools such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a Fundus Camera, and a Visual Field Analyzer. To ensure a smooth and convenient visit for both the optometrist and the patient, pretesting will be completed by our staff. We are committed to providing high-quality eye care in a patient-focused and collaborative environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a licensed Optometrist to come in once or twice a week. We are happy to be flexible with scheduling to make it convenient for you. Whether you are an experienced optometrist or a new graduate, as long as you are registered with the College of Optometrists of Ontario, we would love to hear from you!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed to practice optometry in Ontario
• Registered with the College of Optometrists of Ontario
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Open to both experienced optometrists and new graduates

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and provide accurate prescriptions for corrective lenses
• Diagnose and manage various eye conditions and diseases
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment, including OCT, Fundus Camera, and Visual Field Analyzer
• Collaborate with our in-house optician to ensure patients receive the best care
• Educate patients on eye health, proper eyewear usage, and treatment options
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices
