Help

• Measure and record distance and near visual acuities with and without glasses/contacts.
• Prepare spectacle orders from the optometrists prescription.
• Conduct various color vision, depth perception, monocular amplitude of accommodation, and confrontation field tests.
• Train new contact lens patients on the insertion, removal, relocation, and care of hard and soft contact lenses.
• Assist with appointment functions such as registering patients for clinic visits, making patient appointments, and receiving and recording telephone messages.
• Assist with ordering expendable, non-expendable and durable supplies used in the Optometry Clinic.
• Perform limited first echelon maintenance and minor repair, otherwise arrange for maintenance services.
