Description:

Overview:
Acts as department liaison for OR/Surgical Services. Collaborates with company reps, surgeons, and OR staff to ensure availability of items necessary for patient care. Participates in in-services with the OR staff for new equipment/supplies/instruments. Actively participates in departmental budgets as well as conserving resources to meet cost containment objectives. Demonstrates fiscal and operational accountability. Participates in year-end inventories. Receives, transports, orders, and stock medications within the scope of practice. Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum three years materials management OR will accept Minimum of three years broad OR/Surgical Services, required. Healthcare experience, preferred.
  • Additional Skills Required: PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Team oriented with good communication skills.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: OR/Surgical Services materials management and logistics, planning, and support operations.
