As an Oracle Administrator, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution dedicated to enhancing digital business automation. This project focuses on improving the resilience and monitoring of the Control-M application and its underlying Oracle databases. You will be pivotal in implementing solutions that increase resilience, improve monitoring capabilities, and automate processes, thereby contributing to the strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluating the current resilience of Oracle databases for Control-M
- Recommending improvements based on resilience evaluations
- Participating actively in the project to implement new tools or automate processes
- Configuring Oracle databases to meet application and bank requirements
- Enhancing the monitoring system for Oracle databases
- Updating technical documentation for team use post-resilience enhancement
- Automating processes via scripting skills or automation tools
YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- 4+ years of experience as an Oracle Administrator, specifically with Oracle on Unix operating systems
- Experience with Dataguard and guard
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language
- Knowledge of system security techniques
- Experience automating or improving processes in Oracle environments
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Proven knowledge of monitoring tools for Oracle, such as OEM and Splunk
