We at #CosMicIT GmbH are urgently looking for #Oracle DBA Expert
Location: #Munich #Germany

Qualification:

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle Database administrations
• 2+ years’ experience in one of MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MongoDB database technologies
• Strong analytical, communication and verbal skills with a strong customer service focus
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently toward assigned goals
• Enthusiastic to learn new DB technologie

• Strong experience in Oracle RAC/ASM and Oracle DataGuard architecture on Oracle 12c and 19c under Linux & Solaris platforms
• Handling additional database technologies like MS SQL Server (2012 – 2019), PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Experience in Cross DB migrations e.g., Postgres to Oracle and vice-versa etc.,
• Knowledge in cloud environment like AWS, Azure with respect DBA role
• Strong experience in a Production Operations environment as well as Development Support
• Experience with all aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migration, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup and recovery
• Proactive database monitoring in support of metrics, issue avoidance, and issue resolution
• Database optimization including performance tuning and query tuning including analysis of AWR/ADDM
• Work with cross-functional project teams to resolve technical performance issues/bottlenecks (e.g., network, storage, application)
• Experienced with Unix Shell Scripting (ksh/bash) & PLSQL to automate regular DBA admin tasks
• Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards
• Ability to work independently with very limited supervision
• Provide support for planned activity during off-business hours and non-working days
• Willing to provide 24×7 On-Call coverage on a rotating basis
