Description:
Job Title: Oracle Fusion Procurement Technical Service Owner Location: Swindon (1-2 days per week on-site) Contract: 12-months About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Procurement Technical Service Owner to lead the successful transition of their Oracle Fusion Procurement platform from program development to full production. This role is essential in building a skilled team to support the platform’s ongoing operations and driving the change management portfolio for Procurement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, solid leadership experience, and deep expertise in Procurement processes and technology. Key Responsibilities
- Transition Management: Lead the seamless transition of Oracle Fusion Procurement from development to production, coordinating with stakeholders on risk assessment, timeline management, and resource allocation.
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to supporting the Oracle Fusion Procurement platform, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure platform stability, scalability, and high performance through best practices in system administration and performance monitoring.
- Service Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the Procurement platform, upholding SLAs and delivering optimal user satisfaction.
- Change Management: Oversee the prioritisation and implementation of change requests, ensuring all changes are thoroughly evaluated.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary technical contact for Oracle Fusion Procurement, building strong relationships with Procurement, IT, and vendor teams.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of the platform’s architecture and operational processes, providing regular performance and change management reports to leadership.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 12+ years of experience managing Oracle Fusion Procurement or similar platforms.
- Strong background in Procurement technology and process implementation.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team building and mentoring.
- Expertise in Oracle Fusion Procurement functionalities and data integration.
